Deliveries & Returns

UK delivery:

We ship by UK registered post, and the cost of postage is shown at the checkout. We can only deliver purchases to UK credit/debit card billing addresses. We aim to deliver your order to you right away, and certainly within 14 days from receipt of your order. We will notify you via e-mail if otherwise. A signature is required on delivery.

Returns policy:

We are pleased to offer an Exchange, Credit Note or Refund (excluding Sale goods) on your purchase if it is returned to us within 14 days from receipt providing the item is unworn, in pristine condition, with its original packaging and all relevant receipts and documentation. For a Refund, a returns authorization number must first be obtained by contacting www.wjedwards.com, stating the reason for the request to return the goods. The item must be returned to the address below by Royal Mail’s Special Delivery method to ensure the item is insured. NB. Postage and packaging will not be refunded. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. Please note we do not accept Earrings back if removed from sealed packaging, due to hygiene reasons.

Cancellations:

Under the Consumer Protection Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order with us at any time within 7 days of receiving your goods. In the event we are unable to deliver your order within our standard delivery timescales you are entitled to cancel your order with no penalty. Should you cancel the contract we will then refund you the price you have paid for the goods. This will not include the special delivery charge if you have cancelled after your order has been dispatched, as it is not a service provided by us. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods, which means the goods must be unused. Please contact our store should you wish to cancel your order.

Lost Packages:

Even though packages are sent via Royal Mail special delivery on rare occasions we do experience losses whilst in transit. If this occurs please allow 10 days for the package to arrive from the date of despatch.

Please be aware that if we are not contacted within 30 days, an insurance claim cannot be made and thus the customer will be unable to claim any loss from W.J.Edwards.

What am I entitled to, should my jewellery or watch purchase prove defective?

Should your jewellery or watch prove defective within 12 months, at our discretion, you will be entitled to either:

  • a repair free of charge
  • a replacement with the same item
  • a replacement with a succeeding item if the returned item has been discontinued
  • an exchange for an item of the purchase value stated on the receipt
  • a credit to the purchase value stated on the receipt
  • The warranty does not apply if the jewellery or watch exhibits:
  • normal wear and tear
  • resize or alteration
  • accidental or willful damage
  • misuse by any party
  • repair by a third-party

Our warranty does not cover watches for water resistency – this is covered by the specific manufacturer. Please consult the manufacturer’s warranty for advice about battery replacement and re-sealing. The warranty does not cover the replacement of watch batteries, crystal glass, straps, crowns, bracelets.
